I am a little behind with posting this one. April’s fruit of the month from The Fruit Club was PINEAPPLE! If you are looking for a tasty smoothie to ease your way into the world of green smoothies, this is a good place to start!
All you need:
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- handful of spinach
All you do:
- Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Tip! If you do not have an industrial or a “good” blender, I suggest you first blend the water and spinach to really hide your greens
And that’s it! Your kids are sure to love this green smoothie.
TIP FOR MOMS ONLY: replace water with rum on a hot summer day…or the I-need-a-drink-day.
