Okay, this snack is also for us adults. If you are looking a healthier treat then look no further! I typically tell my clients to choose a complex carbohydrate and a protein as a snack-this meets the bill. I also like to give this idea out to my clients if they are looking to get their chocolate-fix. Enjoy!
All you need:
- 2 Tbsp. Peanut butter
- 1-2 apples, wedged
- 2 Tbsp. Dark chocolate chips
All you do:
- Microwave peanut butter for about 20 seconds or until peanut butter has melted.
- Place apple slices on a plate and drizzle with peanut butter.
- Top with dark chocolate chips (and even chopped nuts!) and enjoy!
